1. Booking Fee & Deposits
To lock in your booking, we just need a quick deposit. Charcuterie Cart – $150 non-refundable booking fee. Charcuterie Cups & Platters – $50 non-refundable deposit. Your booking isn’t confirmed until we’ve received the deposit. Final invoices are sent 10 days before your event, with the balance due 7 days prior. If you’re booking last minute (within 10 days), full payment is needed upfront.
2. Cancellations
We totally get that plans can change! If you cancel more than 7 days before your event, you won’t owe the remaining balance. If you cancel within 7 days, the full payment is non-refundable, as we’ve likely already started preparing your order. If we ever need to cancel (very unlikely!), you’ll receive a full refund.
3. Hire Items & Equipment
If your booking includes hire items (like boards, props, or stands), please take care of them as if they were your own. All items must be returned in good condition within the agreed timeframe. Lost or damaged items may incur a replacement fee.
4. Delivery, Setup & Collection
We’ll confirm delivery and setup times with you before the event. Please make sure we can access the venue easily — it helps everything go smoothly! After your event, we’ll arrange a time to collect any hire items.
5. Food & Handling
We take food safety seriously. All grazing items are prepared fresh and should be enjoyed within 2 hours of setup. Once your board or platter is delivered, it’s your responsibility to keep it stored and served safely.
6. Dietary Requirements
We’re happy to cater for special dietary needs it's your responsibility to inform us. — just let us know when booking! While we do our best, all items are prepared in a shared kitchen, so we can’t guarantee an allergen-free environment.
7. Liability
We always handle everything with care, but Board & Beyond isn’t responsible for any issues arising from incorrect storage, late access to the venue, or misuse of hire items after setup.
8. Photos & Social Media
We love sharing our creations! By booking with us, you agree that we may take and share photos of your setup (don’t worry, we’ll never post anything personal without your OK).
10. SUBJECT TO SEASONAL AVAILABILITY
We always do our best to cater for items that may be out of season; however, availability can vary throughout the year. While we’ll make every effort to source alternatives when certain products aren’t in season, this may not always be possible.
